We provide construction waste in Melksham for builders, tradespeople, landlords and homeowners who need help with rubble, timber, packaging, plasterboard offcuts and mixed building debris and want the job handled without having to organise all the lifting, loading and onward disposal themselves.
Melksham is around 19 minutes and 7.2 miles from our Trowbridge base, making it a regular service area for us across both domestic properties and busier commercial addresses.
That makes the service a good fit for refurbishments, extensions, strip-outs and end-of-job clean-downs, especially when the main priority is to get the space ready for the next trade, a final snagging pass or project handover.
For services that involve business premises, that can include areas around Challeymead Business Park and Atworth Business Park as well as standard residential jobs.
Anything that cannot stay on site is separated for the right disposal route, with FCC Environment - Melksham Household Recycling Centre providing the named local recycling option in the area data where that route fits the load.

We do not treat every construction waste job the same. The quote is built around the waste type, the volume, bagged or loose materials, and access for loading, which helps keep the visit practical and avoids vague pricing.

The point of the job is not just removal for its own sake. We clear the space so it is easier to move on with the next trade, a final snagging pass or project handover.
Melksham jobs usually come down to one thing: getting rid of the right material without making the day more complicated than it needs to be. We keep the process simple, scope it around the real job and then get on with the clearance properly.
Because the service is planned around the waste type, the volume, bagged or loose materials, and access for loading, it works just as well for single awkward loads as it does for larger, more varied jobs that need a bit more thought.
Kitchen refits, bathroom work and garden structures often leave behind mixed waste that is too much for normal bins.
We help keep sites workable by removing leftover materials before they start getting in the way.
If a unit or house is being refurbished, we can clear the building waste so the next stage is easier to organise.
For many smaller projects, a collection service is simpler than arranging a skip and loading it yourself.
1.
Let us know the material types, whether the waste is bagged, and where it is sitting on site.
2.
We price the job based on the volume, labour and how the material needs to be handled.
3.
Our team collects the agreed waste and keeps the working area as tidy as possible while loading.
4.
With the waste gone, trades can keep moving and the job is easier to finish off cleanly.
Need a quick answer?
The questions we get asked most often before a clearance is booked. If yours is not covered, give us a call and we will talk it through.
Yes. Melksham is one of the Wiltshire areas we cover, and it is roughly 19 minutes and 7.2 miles from our Trowbridge base.
We can take common non-hazardous building waste such as rubble, timber, packaging, broken fixtures and similar renovation debris that can be loaded safely.
Where appropriate for the materials involved, FCC Environment - Melksham Household Recycling Centre can be used as a recycling route.
Yes. Melksham includes residential areas as well as business locations such as Challeymead Business Park and Atworth Business Park, and we plan the work around whichever type of property the job involves.
Yes. It works well when the waste is too much for household bins but the job does not justify arranging your own skip.
Send over a few details or photos and we can scope the job around the load, access and timing before arranging a suitable booking.

Local knowledge
Melksham is the largest of the towns we cover from Trowbridge, with a parish population of 18,113 at the 2021 census, and it is only about 4.5 miles north-east of us.
It is also the most mixed. The older core grew up on the River Avon at a ford, while a lot of newer housing has gone in around the edges, including the Hunter’s Meadow development north of Bowerhill in the 2020s. Newer estates are generally the most straightforward jobs we do — driveways, wider doorways, room to turn a van. The older streets nearer the river are the opposite, and we plan them differently.
Bowerhill is effectively a separate community with a large industrial area attached, partly on the site of the former RAF Melksham training schools, and firms including Herman Miller and Knorr-Bremse have regional offices there. Commercial premises there usually mean loading bays, shared access and a site contact, so booking a specific slot matters far more than it does at a house.
The A350 runs north–south through the town and is our main route in. It is a well known pinch point at peak times — a £125m re-routing east of Melksham was approved by central government in February 2020 — so for anything time-critical we would rather start early than sit in it.
At 7.2 miles and roughly 19 minutes from base, the onward route is worked out before the van is loaded rather than after. Anything still usable is kept separate as we go, and only what is genuinely finished with goes to a household recycling centre.
Charity and reuse shops nearby
We cannot promise any particular shop will accept a given item — that is always their call on the day — but sorting for reuse first is how we keep as much as possible out of the skip.

You do not need to visit any of these yourself — the point of booking us is that the loading, the trip and the disposal are all covered.
